Celebrating the 2024 AI-HUB@LMU Prize Winners: Pauline Leininger
We are proud to announce Pauline Leininger (Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science & Statistics) as the recipient of the inaugural AI-HUB@LMU Prize for the Best Master’s Thesis Project in the Field of AI!
Her Master’s Thesis, “Exploring the Use of AI-Generated Environments for Virtual Film Productions“, conducted at the Chair for Media Informatics and Human-Computer-Interaction, examines the potential of AI-generated environments for enhancing virtual film production, developing a design space, and an interactive software prototype to assess their effectiveness.
The Jury commended her work, stating: “The thesis stands out for its innovative combination of theoretical exploration and practical application that integrates both measurable performance and industry expert feedback.”
