The GraduateCenterLMU hosts this extra fast science slam, where doctoral candidates from all departments are forced to get to the heart of their research, while the seconds race by. 180 seconds – this is the time given to present the research at the GC Speed Slam 2025.
The doctoral candidates are required to be extremely concise about their topic and research question. At the same time, the candidates have to make it as catchy as possible to be able to reach out to an audience of non-experts in their field. And to convince them is important, because the audience will also act as the jury at the end of this racing competition.
