Welcome to the winter semester!

Around 51,000 students are enrolled at LMU for the 2022/23 winter semester, including some 8,500 newcomers who are beginning their studies at LMU.

For the first time in two years, the traditional welcome event for first-year students could be held again in the LMU main building. In the atrium, Vice President Professor Oliver Jahraus welcomed the new students: “I wish you every success in your studies at the university. It’s great that you’re here!”
