In order to be able to use Confluence (BayernCollab), you need an LMU user ID, which you have to activate once in your user account to use the service. The service is connected to the central identity management system. Without an LMU user ID, use of Confluence (BayernCollab) is neither possible nor permitted. The decision to activate the user account for Confluence (BayernCollab) is voluntary. It is not reversible. Without your activation, it is not possible to use Confluence.
Confluence (BayernCollab) is operated by the LRZ, with which there is an order processing contract. By activating your LMU user ID, you agree to the data processing required for the operation of Confluence (BayernCollab) on the basis of the applicable data protection regulations Benutzungsrichtlinien des LRZ and must confirm that you have taken note of the LMU's usage and data protection notices.
Everyone in Confluence (BayernCollab) (employees, students and other holders of a valid LMU user ID) can see your activity log, i.e. which files or pages you have edited, among other things. This display cannot be deactivated. The files or pages you actually edit can only be opened by members with the appropriate rights, usually the members of the corresponding space and the space admins.
Your co-readers (i.e. everyone who follows your posts) and who you are following are also visible to everyone.
