VPN access to the Munich science network
Some offers of the LMU are only available in the Munich Science Network (Münchner Wissenschaftsnetz). Access is via a Virtual Private Network (VPN) client.
Access to EduVPN
The LRZ recommends the client eduVPN (Download) set up by the Dutch research network SURF. Installation instructions of the LRZ can be found on the page VPN - eduVPN.
