The Center for Economic Studies (CES) annually honours an internationally outstanding economist as „Distinguished CES Fellow“. The laureate gives the „Munich Lectures in Economics“, a lecture series presenting a current research topic in economics to the broad public. The event is supported by Munich Re, CESifo and the ifo institute Munich.
This year's Fellow will be Professor Janet Currie (Henry Putnam Professor of Economics and Public Affairs, Princeton University).
