Online workshop: Successful proposal planning and writing - with a focus on EU-funded collaborative research projects
Every research project starts with an idea. However, turning that idea into a successful project proposal may sometimes seem like a daunting task with varying formal requirements and expectations to be faced depending on the specific funding scheme in question.
This online workshop addresses strategies and hands-on tips to translate an innovative research idea into a competitive project proposal. To this end, we will take a particular look at writing a proposal for a collaborative research project funded under the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon Europe”. The programme sets the financial, political and legal framework for a variety of individual funding schemes, which cover a wide array of thematic fields.
The workshop consists of two 1-hour online sessions taking place as lunch-time webinars on 27 and 29 September 2022. Further information on the focus of the sessions can be found below under "Programme". These two sessions succeed a workshop at the beginning of September, which provides an introduction to Horizon Europe and future topics and calls in the field of health research. Further information can be found here.
For this training, LMU has once again teamed up with experts from the European Research and Project Office GmbH (EURICE), one of Germany’s largest project and innovation management consultancy firms for European and international R&I projects. Participants will receive a certificate of participation.
