Video with LMU researcher Christian Haass about the state of research and new drugs

There are people over 100 years old who are protected against Alzheimer’s. But most people have risk factors. “The chances are very high that a given person will get Alzheimer’s at an advanced age,” says Christian Haass, Chair of Metabolic Biochemistry at LMU and spokesperson of the Munich Cluster for Systems Neurology (SyNergy).

Christian Haass has been researching Alzheimer’s for over 35 years. In our video, the LMU professor discusses drugs that slow the progress of the disease and new approaches in research.
