Complete one or more micro-internships at companies of your choice. At the closing event, you will get to know up to 30 companies in person. There is no better training for your next case interview or assessment centre!
We have been offering the Q4 Internship Flash to students at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and all other public universities in Munich for 10 years.
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will complete a one-day micro-internship at one of our partner companies. In one day, you will solve an exciting business case in an interdisciplinary team, independently and with technical support from the company. This case is close to reality or directly from the working world of the company.
The Q4 has often been a springboard to the next career step for students.
At the end of the year, the Q4 series closes with a local career event on December 5, 2025, where all teams and companies meet locally to expand their career network.
The Q4 is a cooperation between the LMU Career Service and the participating companies. You will of course receive a certificate for the event. We always pay attention to this and, if necessary, advise students to take part in the cases that suit their subject areas and level of experience.
The Q4 is also suitable for international students, as you coordinate with each other as a team and settle the issue of the language of cooperation among yourselves. We nevertheless recommend B1 / B2 knowledge of German.

On December 5, 2025, the closing event will take place at the Kardinal-Wendel-Haus from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is where all participants in the Q4 workshops held throughout the year will meet—both companies and students alike. Other visitors who are interested in the format and the workshops for the coming year are also invited. On site, they can find out what career opportunities the companies have to offer.
