Artificial intelligence is shaping the application process on both sides: an increasing number of students use AI tools to create their application documents, while companies increasingly rely on AI-based systems to pre-screen and evaluate applications. For students, the key question is therefore no longer whether AI is being used, but how it can be applied in a meaningful, reflective, and strategic way. This seminar provides a practice-oriented overview of how AI is transforming the application process and where its use creates real added value. Students learn how to use AI tools in a targeted way to create, optimize, and tailor their application materials. At the same time, the seminar explains how selection processes work and what human resources departments expect from modern
applications. The interactive lecture combines concrete use cases with critical reflection and demonstrates how AI can support the application process without compromising
authenticity, transparency, or credibility.

In this seminar, we’ll explore our personal values, among other things, because they play a crucial role in shaping our lives—even if we’re often unaware of it. When we understand our values, we can make career decisions that are not only a good fit but also sustainable.
