My research focuses on the investigation of transdiagnostic psychological processes, emotion regulation and emotional intelligence in the context of mental disorders. I am particularly interested in the relevance of these processes for symptomatology and treatment outcomes as well as their importance as potential risk factors and maintaining mechanisms. In addition, I am dedicated to researching physical activity as an intervention and its effects on mental health. The aim of my research is to understand the underlying mechanisms and to develop innovative therapeutic approaches.
