Research Focus & Expertise

My research focuses on the analysis and understanding of therapy failures in the treatment of people with traumatic experiences. In particular, I am dedicated to investigating the prevalence and predictors of premature dropout and non-response to psychotherapeutic interventions for trauma-associated disorders. My particular expertise includes the application and further development of meta-analytical methods in order to gain evidence-based insights for the optimization of therapeutic approaches.
