The Women's Representatives of Faculty 11 are deeply committed to ensuring equal opportunities for all women in our faculty. Our primary focus is to advocate for female members—especially students, academic staff, and professors—to help them realize their full potential and secure the best possible support for their academic and professional journeys.

We champion a community that is diverse, respectful, and equitable by collaborating with equality officers, diversity initiatives, and a broad network to guarantee comprehensive promotion and support.

Our Goal

Our central goal is to create an environment in which women have unrestricted opportunities to develop academically and professionally - regardless of their background, age, personal family and life plans, sexual orientation or other individual characteristics. We focus on identifying and eliminating structural and systemic obstacles that stand in the way of women achieving their professional and personal goals. Through targeted measures, we strive to firmly establish a culture of recognition and respect for women at our faculty.

Our Duties

As the Faculty’s Women's Representatives, we fulfill a variety of roles. Please feel free to reach out to us with any specific questions or requests for advice!

  • Representation of Interests: We advocate for the interests of all women within our faculty, defending their rights and addressing their concerns in academic and student life.
  • Promoting Equality: We implement strategies to actively advance women’s equality and increase female representation across various levels and career stages.
  • Raising Awareness: We highlight the unique challenges women face in academia and professional spheres through committee work, educational initiatives, and exchanges with faculty members.
  • Advice and Support: We provide personalized advice and support on gender-specific challenges, such as discrimination, career barriers, or balancing family and work life.
  • Events: To foster gender equality, we organize and promote workshops, seminars, and events that encourage exchange, further education, and empowerment of women in academia.
