Conflict counseling and Anti-Discrimination
LMU offers a wide range of counseling options for conflict resolution. The university is actively committed to protection against discrimination. All members and guests of LMU should feel welcome and safe at the university.
LMU stands for a tolerant work and study environment that is free of discrimination and violence. In order to create conditions that enable respect, inclusion and participation for all members, LMU has established numerous counseling and contact points. These support in overcoming conflicts and advise university members who experience discrimination.Francesca Biagini, Vice President for International Affairs and Diversity
How you can act:
- Seek a personal conversation first.
- Get support from supervisors and persons with managerial, training, and qualification tasks from your study or work environment or from the faculty.
- In cases of conflict: Get support from the conflict resolution officers for students or academic staff or contact the staff council for employees, who will support you in resolving conflicts.
- In the event of discrimination, anti-semitism, harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual assault: If you experience discriminatory behavior, contact the anti-discrimination officers or other specialized internal and external counseling and outreach services.
- They will support you and offer information about protection and possible courses of action and explain the formal complaint procedure and possible arbitration.
